Actually, you can. By banning people who are being toxic. Stop being sorry for people that ruin the game for normal players. That's like saying "Oh well, we can't really do anything to people who molest children because that's how they want to live their life" or "Oh well, We can't do anything to people who mutilate animals for fun, that's how they want to live life so I can't change that."

    It's lazy idiocy.

Ontop of that, it keeps the kill from counting towards daily orders, so you're being denied the Steel you worked for.

Yes, Kill stealing DOES harm your team and anyone saying "OH WELL IT JUST MAKES YOU GET MORE EXP" no it doesn't. You get RENOWN for ingame kills, not exp. And it's not shared based on who did the most damage. If you get a full kill + execute, that's practically a full renown level early on. If someone jumps in and steals it, you won't even get a half of a level. It's detremental to you INGAME, To your ORDERS, to your ENDGAME SCORE which also increases your EXP for your Rep levels, AND it means that the person waiting to steal your kill isn't actually off helping the team in a meaningful way. He's LEECHING off of the team, not adding to it, and that in and of itself is enough of a reason to quit the game then and there. You might as well be playing with bots.

It's the entire reason most people stopped playing Dominion and Skrimish. Kill stealing is an issue that needs bans. I don't care if some kid kills himself because he couldn't RUN HIS OWN TEAM INTO THE GROUND BY INTENTIONALLY GIMPING THEM, then no skin off of my nose. Let the guy bleed out, Less cancer for the world to deal with. I'm sick of these self-entitled crap-munchers running around saying "I paid for the game so I can "play" how I want to."
So essentially you're saying that your enjoyment is more important than other's enjoyment? For you that is true, for your teammates it is not. I don't think I've ever seen anyone literally standing around waiting to steal a kill. I usually see people come in from one of the other cap points or the spawn. I'll gank a kill all day long if I see a fight between running to cap points. Most people have quit playing Dominion? Not on the ps4 they haven't. Usually very high activity to high activity when I play. There will literally never be a ban for kill stealing and crying for one is just pissing in the wind. Maybe go play 1v1?

Except killing people in 4v4 is part of the game. It isn't toxic. The point is to destroy the other team and cap points. Doesn't matter how you do it. If it did I imagine the game would have a mechanic that disallows others from joining in on a fight in progress. Also you're examples are so dumb. If you think ganking kills is the same as child molestation you have a serious ****ing problem.

...and when they fail to actually help, the enemy goes into Revenge, and you get blind-sided. Yay.

If you are seeing them go into Revenge you aren't exactly being blind-sided Just part of the risks of playing 4v4.

I understand OPs actual point. If all you are doing is running around stealing last hits, then yeah you're garbage. If it happens occasionally though I dont care, I rather win with us killing as a team than wasting time in long fights.

I'm talking 1 v 1 up till the moment they went red bar and suddenly he comes out of nowhere and takes the kill with a single heavy and runs away again.

It got so bad that at one point 2 of his teammates left RIGHT after he did it.

Not even complaining about 2 v 1 or 3 v 1 but if your teammate is literally seconds away from winning their fight don't be a scumbag and swoop in and take it.

    I mean come on.

It's a game and a viable way to play it. You need to take a chill pill.

Easiest way to "fix" this is to give people renown based on their damage done to the enemy. Personally, I haven't really thought about kill stealing as a thing. I don't like ganging up on people, but I do realize that mowing down enemies is the goal of 4v4 and that's the most effective way to do it so I abandoned my code of honor and joined the bloodbath. I go play other modes, when I want more than an occasional chance to really duke it out with a single opponent.
