Why don't mics work in game?

What is the deal with this? There is no way to communicate with your teammates or taunt the other team in the lobby. This is like 20 year old tech, why does it not work? How am I supposed to let all the bit(h-A$$ players know how much they suck playing their op samurai bit(h classes or whatever without a mic??

I mean in game text is ok, if you are like 5 or a robot. At least let us will in the text in a menu out of game so that we can say things we want. Just so everyone knows when I say "Wow!" in game text it means you are a bit(h and can't beat me unless 2 of your friends join in and you are playing bit(h class as well. Viking or knight faction players using a nobishi or oroshi ... bit(hes all of them. Well even the samurai faction users are most likely bit(hes too, jumping on the OP band wagon.

You seem exactly like the person everyone mutes the instant they start trash talking or yelling at their team. As for the actual topic, mics seem to work, atleast on occasion. I've talked to others a couple of times. Also, no, teams should not be able to hear each other in the pre-game or post-game lobbies.

P.S. bypassing the swear filter is a no-no.

They do, but you have to manually set your mic in the game options. For some odd reason they didn't use your computers set default. So mine was originally set to some base default that doesn't even have a mic function.

I had to set it and restart.
