First of all: Yes I don't like those people running away from me to avoid a fight as well but I don't care about that in general.
The Problem:
Now to the real chicken run which I see more and more often and as a Shogoki player can't stop.
So I'm standing on point A to get more points for my team. Then an assassin or vanguard hero comes with run speed equipment. Instead of fighting me he is just running around point A. This way he prevents us to get points from A. I can't catch him and if I leave point A he will take it over.
Once I had a fight where he just stood right in front of me for 5 min as I gave up to chase him down. An other time we were 3 people and needed 2 mins to kill the chicken runner. In that time his teammates conquered the other points and we were losing.
Solution Proposal:
I really believe that we need some kind of mechanic to stop this chicken run. My suggestion is quite easy. If I hold A and an enemy comes into the area of point A we stop generating points from A for 30-60 seconds. After that time passed we generate +1 from point A again. This way the enemy is forced to attack and kill me or to leave and do something more helpful for his team.
