First hero suggestion is for the Knights Faction
- hero that focuses on speed and distance. Character similar to assassin's in play style, light to no armor and weapon- rapier.
Rapier is a long distance weapon, while it is a sword, those unfamiliar with fencing will find this strange but feel comfortable is actually about maximum range, so play style of such hero would very much be similar to nobushi except more straight forward and a lot more jumping back as Fencing utilizes dash forward swift pierce and then jump back. Unlike other swords and heroes in the game this hero would basically have no slashing strikes if any at all and would utilize a low damage swift jump in stab and then jump back keeping the distance tactics.
This hero would have to have a similar ability to orochi where dodging I to upcoming strike basically makes him/her parry it simple due to the fact that's rapier is a piercing weapon so it'd neither be able to block properly any of the weapons in the game nor is it meant to block those weapons. So his play style would be somewhat similar to nobushi in terms of trying to keep distance and attacking from afar.
I think such a hero would be really cool and fun additional.
His executions would be something like - swift stab through the heart, or a stab through the neck and emotions would be fencing ready stance and maybe a -"come here" type of thing for second emote
Second hero suggestion for the Vikings - a bare handed unarmed bar brawler. A Viking with either like metal fist weapons or brass knuckles type of thing perhaps or nothing at all. He'd have the most problems getting in range of his enemies so maybe have him be able to counter attack from a success block? Such as that he has arms and wrist guards armor so when he blocks an attack he can step in range quickly and do few punch's
His guard break being like an uppercut which stuns opponentand well that's about it.. just simple basic brawler who beats the hell out of his opponents. playstyle similar to warlord or something, very heavy skill based and awesome if you get a hang of it.
His executions being like - grabbing a rock from the ground and smacking the enemy on the head with it.
Emotes being like pulling out his drinking horn and taking a drink, another emote being like smacking himself on the chest and a shout or such.
Last hero suggestion is for the samurai and I actually have 2 suggestions here
1st samurai hero suggestion is - Bo Jutsu based character, for those u familiar with this, Bo = martial arts staff. The most famous example of a Bo user would be Son Wukong (a.k.a Monkey King) his weapon was the staff. Bo is a short 5ft long staff used in martial arts of all kinds such as Karate at higher levels, Bo Jutsu, Aikido at higher levels and many others.
My idea is a Monkey King based character who fights using a a chaotic style with Bo staff as weapon. Ofc money king is a deity but I'm saying character based on that so basically a character with chaotic fighting style using a Bo staff.
His executions could be like crushing enemies throat with the end of the staff or just simply breaking neck by swinging the staff around.
Monkey King in eastern mythology is similar to god Loki from the Nordic mythology, he is known as a trickster and joker so character would fight in a style similar to Valkyrie , lawbringer and Kensei. ( In sense of throwing enemy on the floor, using cheap shots and being a bit h predictable such as Kensei when Kensei does side dodge and strike when he dodges to one side and strike comes from the opposite) fighting speed would be similar to Lawbringer and damage would be lower since it's a staff not a spear after all.
Emotes could be such as just doing some crazy staff spins stunts or just sitting down and laughing, it's a trickster after all xD
My second idea for samurai hero here is a Tonfa based character.
Tonfa is that funky police bat you see which has 2 handle. There are 3 ways to use a Tonfa, holding it by the end so you have a short bat blunt weapon. Holding it by the side handle which gives 2 modes, short barely sticking out ends but longer part guarding arms or longer parts sticking out for further reach and more damage.
Tonfa is a blunt weapon, similar to staff, it's usually meant to be used to neutralize target without killing them but nonetheless tonfa can be used in lethal strikes and kill an enemy.
If I'm not mistaking, Tonfa was one of many weapon types that ninjutsu practicioners trained ( before the hater arrives telling me how ninjas are fake and there's no such thing as Ninjutsu allow me to just say - go watch some documentaries about that)
Back to the topic, Tonfa as a weapon while it's blunt by default it can be armed with blades and spikes, it's a weapon of close combat encounters ( same range as peace keepers daggers really) it's a weapon which in right hands can provide exceptional defense, almost on par with having a shield, it's also a weapon which is probably the fastest attacking and stance switching weapon you can imagine.
So fighting style of Tonfa hero would be similar to Peace keeper. It'd be about same range, with better defense but lower damage. About on par with speed I'd say.
Executions could be similar to what I described for Bo Jutsu character. Crushing neck/ throat.
Emotes could be a gracious bow and a threat or something
Anyways,this was a long post with 4 main hero suggestions, I thank you for reading if you actually read all of it and I applaud you for reading.
P.S. I'd like to mention there's many other weapon and heroes I'd love to see in game such as a Winged Hussar hero, an unarmed Chinese Kung Fu hero, an Arab with scimitar, a cavalry saber user, a straight short Ninjutsu sword hero, some more unarmed fighters like Muay Thai fighter ( I mean the lethal traditional muay Thai not the sportified classic mauy Thai or the MMA stuff...).
P.S.s. I don't expect this post to live long as it will probably be burried under 3+pages of repeating spam and whining about how every class in the game needs a nerf and every class in the game needs a buff simple because people can't utilize their heroes true potential. So, I'd like to ask you all who have read all of this if you like any of the ideas keep bumping this post so the dev team sees this and hopefully likes the idea.
