[PS4](BUG) For Honor deleted it self | Forums

So i was playing for honor for console type PS4 with my buddy, we played brawl for the orders. After a match my screen was completely black, but i could see if he joined a new match and who joined the session, all the sounds of the game where there and even in game i could hear everything and fight like a bootleg Daredevil. After that i figured hey lets turn the console off and see if this fix it, when it went on again the game had just kamikaze'd and self determinated it self. Now ill have to download the entire game again which takes a while because my internett isnt something to brag about and i dont have disc version.

So the purpose of this is to report this insane **** that just happend and to ask if someone out there knows how to prevent this from happening ever again.

I'll forward your report on to have this investigated.

In the meantime I would advise the following to prevent this from happening again:

-Firstly power off your console, using either the power button or by removing the power source.
-To turn on the PS4 into Safe mode, Press and Hold down the power button on the front of the PS4, until the console beeps twice (once immediately, then another after a few seconds of holding)
-Connect your Dual Shock remote via USB cable.
-Press the PS button on the controller to pair devices.

I would also try removing any applications/games you don't use from the hard-drive as the game may be installed to a section of the drive which is damaged.

What was the last match you played? Was your brawl in PvP or against AI? If you can specify the Type and Mode it would be great. Also, can you give us a time frame regarding your description: black screen while in lobby, deploying war assets, loading screen...

Lastly, was the Beta System Software installed on your console, or not?

It was a brawl match where the opponents left the game after the match was over, then the screen went black at the map before u can choose game modes. we went into an another brawl and I could see at the bottom left who joined the session and such.

the beta was deleted from the system when i got the main game.
