There is a thread on general discussions talking about this subject in general right now.
Often times when Nobushi, Peacekeeper and Valkyrie spam light-attacks endlessly, I, a the Lawbringer, can't change from left to right fast enough to block all of them. Which is pretty ****ty to be honest.Originally Posted by Diegovnn Go to original post
I mean, he is meant to be a defensive character so it makes total sense. Right?Originally Posted by Umngyr Go to original post
Can't tell if defending slow change of stance or being ironic. If defending it then consider that since both offence and defensive capabilities are tied to stance change you cannot have a defensive character with a slow change and expect it to actually be able to reliableydefend itself.Originally Posted by ShinimasS Go to original post
It makes sense, but if you are going by logic standards than a peace keeper light spamming a guy in full plate wouldn't even be hurting the Lawbringer.Originally Posted by ShinimasS Go to original post
Ironic, yes. That's what it was. I don't really understand Ubi's balancing process.Originally Posted by TheCadian_ Go to original post
I have started to play the LB lately, and I play raider a bunch too, and I notice that light attack spammers are my bain.
Perhaps it is in part due to the slower blocking timing, or a lack of skill on my end.
But what I have found to help with the lb is to keep them at range. This can be done using shove. If they are spamming it in your face but you can block one or two hitting GB after a block will auto shove. It cannot be interrupted and will hit. You can then go into one of his combos or back of if you need to.
If you cant manage to block (sometimes people are really good at spamming that one attack) you can initiate the shove if you time it right. You may take one or two hits mid animation but it will get them off of you.
I have found that not letting them get their chain is the best way to handle them. And attempt to poke them down from a distance. But in all fairness I have had quite some difficulty with it myself. Though generally light attack spammers follow the same pattern every time they attack. So try to predict it when you fight them repeatedly.
