Please take a glance. Ubisoft's response

Ubi Support (2/17/2017, 3:47:10 AM): Thank you for contacting Ubisoft Live Support. Please give me a moment to review your case. In the meantime, feel free to add any additional information that may pertain to your issue, and I will be with you shortly.
    Me: Okay
Ubi Support: Hello, I see you have NAT type 2. I do apologize but every game requires different ports to be opened. If the ports are not open the game will not connect correctly.
Me: Our ITS group said that they could not open the ports due to security reasons. What I still don't understand is how the beta started working for an hour and then suddenly stopped after a patch intended to fix the issue before.*
Ubi Support: The ports can change with updates of the game.
Me: So you're basically telling me theres nothing you all can do and that most all the features except for Player vs A.I. and story mode are unavailable and are probably going to stay that way?*
Ubi Support: I do apologize but that is correct. As it is the internet blocking the connection and we are unable to change that.
Me: Thats a unacceptable, and I'm sorry I know you specifically didn't develop the game but that response is ridiculous. I paid $70 for a game you all developed and then only to have close to 90% of the game be unavailable*
Me: And what annoys me more about your response: I'm not the only one experiencing these issues. I've been reading the forums and tons of people are having connectivity issues due to NAT types and connection issues yet there are no affirmations that the issues are ever going to be fixed.*
Ubi Support: I am more than happy to send you the connection troubleshooting steps that open up NAT types but it requires firewalls and port forwarding.
Me: If its already in the forums than I've already seen it, thank you.*
Me: If you cannot provide me with any different solution or any current movement to fix this issue there's nothing else you can help me with. What a piss poor move on Ubisofts part, extremely dissappointed.*
Ubi Support (2/17/2017, 4:17:20 AM): I can not provide any more solutions for the issue.

In Context I'm living on a campus that has a firewall that blocks the ports required. The colleges' ITS desk said there was no way they could open the ports due to security reasons, but randomly my NAT switched to moderate and the beta worked for around an hour and a half until Ubisoft put out a seamless update that booted me back to NAT type 2 and kept me from joining online games. I now have the full game and still experience the same mfin issue and this the only response they could give.

    How wonderful.

It has been 14 days since the game launched and the issue still hasn't been fixed, also been noticing that the player count on PS4 has dropped significantly. Ibis gotta work fast or their game's going to sink

this is why p2p is never a good idea and just a cheap way to gain more money,
before i opened the ports i had a strict NAT type and couldn't find a single game
its stupid how you have to know how to open ports just to play a game and there's no compensation for it in terms of refunds

You can't blame the support guy for not being able to help you, the desicions that screwed you over weren't made by him. I do understand your frustration though and you are more than justified to be pissed off.

Yeah I cut that part off of the chat, I later apologized and said that I knew it wasn't her fault . The answers given to the support staff by the devs are unacceptable; The devs stating that there's no way to fix it nor is there any chance it's going to be fixed in the future is a load of **** and providing that answer to the people that are supposed to help us is even ****tier. Wasn't trying to kill the messenger but jesus christ its hard not to be irritated when you ask for help and the only thing they can say is no because of their higher ups. Sorry for the rant but this is starting to feel more and more like a cash grab than a game for the fans

I don't understand. They lost lot of money and in the future they will loose lot lot more money because of very bad reputation. Some weak manager with his weak team destroying every Ubisoft multiplayer game cause of bad engineering. Maybe he is scared to do anythink cause higher ups could see the problem and realize how much money they lost in past years. I don't understand why still no any other programmer who wanted to advance haven't tried to inform owners / highest up about a problem and possible resolves he could provide. He just could tell thet he with his team (recruited in nearest future) will resolve the problem. second possibiliti - There are games with p2p which works good enough - just find their programmer and pay him for knowledge if in Ubi company there in not enough good programmers to resolve that.
