As it currently stands it serves no function other than to antagonize and grief other people. Therefore I think it is probably in the best interest of the playerbase and the image of Ubisoft and the game For Honor in general to limit this function.

Emotes are a simple stylistic choice. You can choose to use them, or not. They can sometimes be used for mind games, but they serve no real function anyway.
Also "looking funny" can also be construed as synonymous with "lacking in maturity".

I agree it is annoying and childish. I won't complain if they change the animation to be full when you press the button without ability to stop.

But like teabagging etc. it's part of gaming culture peeps wanting to show their e-peens and such.
They are hardly the people I face in 1 vs 1 duels though. It's mostly the spamkids in 4vs4 modes

But yeah I support the idea to remove it. The fact you need to cancel cause of incoming... well don't show off if you're not safe.

Oh, people, come on! Yes, it might be frustrating but this is a part of the game. I hate when someone do this to me. This makes me angry. But at the same time this makes me want to focus and take the revanche.

Also, when someone do this, this shows his amateurism. But you are higher than this, right?
