The game would be a hot mess if most of the suggested changes here were implemented. Many of the suggestions completely go against how fighting games function at their basic level and would result in a game that's incredibly dull. Personally, I'd like to see the developers approach some names from the fighting game community to assist. I know that sounds a bit patronising, but all the big name fighting games, Street Fighter etc. have top players 'on the books'.
Also, please don't patch the balance frequently and repeatedly. This is a recipe for a lousy fighting game. Let the game sit and players adjust. What everyone thinks is cheap/broken one minute is ineffective the next. Just let people learn for a bit. Many people on this forum mistake not knowing the answer for something as something being broken. You'll never appease those guys and trying would probably just lose you the fighting game crowd.
Thanks for the kickass game.
Glad to see you're blindly accepting this **** the devs have delivered, this game's an absolute mess. The fact that you're undermining the suggestions (which is what this forum is for) of the people here is why what could be a great game stays the opposite. I've been looking forward to this for so long, played the alpha and both betas and the experience has gotten worse every time. It's disappointing to see this game in it's current state after all this time.
the patches they make are only minor changes in the balancing in my point of view, and some are really needed. like the one for the valkyr now. for a hybrid class she is pretty limited of what she can do. most of the time you just try to guard break them and then knock them down. that the fast attacks get a little buff is really good, since you get one hit but the second will be blocked in 80% of the time.
but there are different changes which would be more important, a possibilite to set the gear of in the 4vs4 modes would be great. and so on. and first of all get dedicated servers
