Pornographic/Racist Emblems - What can we do? | Forums

Seeing a lot of phallic imagery on emblems, and a LOT swastikas, parteiadlers, sig runes, and other general nazi symbolism in game post-launch. I've been reporting these emblems every time I come across them, and I refuse to play with anyone showcasing anything of the sort, but I feel like the report feature is just there as a placebo button and I'm not down with that. What is actually happening when we report players with emblems like these?

A lot of the "Nazi symbolism" you are seeing are Viking religious symbols the Nazi Party stole. The sunwheel swastika is an actual symbol in the game that you can use.

This is a game with old-times warrior classes, eastern warriors, japan, chinese, are much more old, also barbaric vikings have such a symbols. What do you expect? Hello Kitties on their shield just for your health soul????

This game is an alternate reality. It's not absurd to ask to remove the swastikas. You don't have to be a *******, the swastika is very much a nazi symbol, appropriated or not, so don't be obnoxious about where it originated.

The people you see with nazi emblems are clearly using it with some sort of malicious intent; thus I will continue to spam report/mute and try to avoid playing with them.

I don't think, that people who bear the swastika on a red/white background use it as a symbol of luck.

They are either very uneducated, dumb, racists or trolls.

Phallic symbols on shields? Funny. If they want to run around with a ****s on their shields', they are the ones who look stupid.

This is the Internet. We're playing a video game about literally eviscerating other people with ****ing poleaxes. Why a swastika, a **** shield, or a racist, sexist, or otherwise ****ty name should put you off so much is beyond me; you are an adult, and this game is -for- adults.

Sometimes adults do stupid ****, like make swastika shields. That's because idiots, *******s, and emotionally stunted adults exist. You are unlikely to run into the same twice, and despite being publicly idiotic, they cause essentially no harm.

Eventhough many Nazi symbols are from other times and civs it doesn't mean they have not become tainted by it.

That said they are quite common in games based on WW2 and than we have no problem with it cause we're killing the bad guys...
So as long as it's an opponent I'm fine with it, makes the decap that much sweeter!

But it is quite sad to see this being a thing already imho

because i'm an adult, it's my obligation to make sure hatred and bigotry don't infect what is otherwise an amazing game. you're clearly american, born as raised, because you're desensitized to how cruel it is. you guys see a swastika and you elect it president. i see one and i look away. if that means walking from the game, if it isn't addressed, then so be it. i've lost money on stranger things.

Not every cross like symbol means that the Person is a nazi....
Still, to answer your question, you can report people for offensive emblems if you click on their name in the pre-/postgame lobby

People disagree with you, get over it. Plus there is a sense of contrarian / satirical element to the swastika, beings that ****s like you seem to think anyone who disagrees with you and your ilk are in fact neo-nazis.
