    Not even 50,000 online first week after release.

    This game will not be playable, and matchmaking will not be a thing, if more players aren't in the pool. This is extremely concerning.

    EDIT: Numbers based off of social tab at 11PM MST Saturday 2/18 for the PC.

    Look for threads like this one, and then decide not to ****ing buy games.

    A couple of my friends aren't playing till the guardbreak patch. Extrapolate that out and maybe its 10% of the playerbase? Maybe some others waiting on a balance patch they think will come?

    Not sure why they didn't push out the GB patch for what was likely their most crowded weekend though.

    Guard Break is an abused and a broken mechanic.

    Stamina drain on block solves all the turtle issues - block when out of stamina, get knocked down and free heavy overhand. Stamina drain on dodge as well should be implemented.

    GB should be removed from the game period. Add in a combo throw/push after for each class like the nobouish's kick after three lights. Dodge-able but punishing. Each class should have a combo sting that they can put out that is not "stopped" by blocking - ie the chain of three commands isn't lost. Follow that with a push / kick.

    Classes that have a "charge built in" like Rider Law bringer, shugoki etc, keep those as current.

    What the hell? You can counter guardbreak, it needs timing, but after practicing a bit I could handle that. I prefer practicing that too, instead of not playing it.

    I saw about 70.000 players online in the last to days evening. That is a huge number for me. Sure, it's not that much like rainbow six siege, but who care?

    Close to six figures on one platform, that's pretty damn awesome.

    Want to see terrible numbers? Diablo 3 sold 6 million copies its first week, and had about 20k people playing before the end of the month...

    Ubi already stated that GB countering isn't functional for some characters.
