A couple of my friends aren't playing till the guardbreak patch. Extrapolate that out and maybe its 10% of the playerbase? Maybe some others waiting on a balance patch they think will come?
Not sure why they didn't push out the GB patch for what was likely their most crowded weekend though.

Guard Break is an abused and a broken mechanic.
Stamina drain on block solves all the turtle issues - block when out of stamina, get knocked down and free heavy overhand. Stamina drain on dodge as well should be implemented.
GB should be removed from the game period. Add in a combo throw/push after for each class like the nobouish's kick after three lights. Dodge-able but punishing. Each class should have a combo sting that they can put out that is not "stopped" by blocking - ie the chain of three commands isn't lost. Follow that with a push / kick.
Classes that have a "charge built in" like Rider Law bringer, shugoki etc, keep those as current.
