    Berserker needs buffs.

    I play berserker only. Rep 1 soon to be rep 2. I have never fought a berserker near my skill level, and barely any at all. This is because the other assassins can actually fight non amateur players. Berserker barely has skills, of its 8 we can only use 2. The infinite chain, and side chop. We have 2 zone atks which cost most our stamina that are easy to block (the backwards one scratches the person once for most your stamina). 2 jump attacks that take so long to trigger everyone blocks them, 1 heavy chain that also takes forever for each strike, I have never hit with the last strike as the animation jumps up and freezes in place for 1 second before striking. And finally the sprint strike which takes longer to use than other assassins, which results in other assassins running circles watching you miss and then retaliating you to death.

    Other assassins and spear hybrids are faster in attack than the berserker, making it already difficult to fight 1v1 if they know how to even block, can't reach uninterruptable stance if you can't even land more than 1 hit(heavy strike in combo sequence is predictably slow and gets parried easily). We have the shortest reach, duration blocking, and yet also the slowest attack speed?? Add on no bleed or unblockbles, this class cannot fight skilled players, only amateurs.

    Our heavy chain finisher feat would be nice, if we could get faster or unblockable atks. Out of 412 wins, 100 assists, 214 deaths I have only landed 4 upper stance finishers that were not blocked, only on noobs. Even duel bot 1 can block it.

    Against a player that has learned how to block, our slow speed makes it nearly impossible to, well, berserk. This class is supposed to be a spam harasser with quick endless strikes, which is why it has no bleed or unblockables. Instead it becomes a game of side chop, while focusing on blocking because trying to use our light, heavy infinite sequence is impossible against blockers and a death sentence against parries.

    Infact our recovery time after a block is so long all you have to do is guard break immediately afterwards and you get a free hit. Which I'm pretty sure is a bug, since GBing us after blocking our heavy is uncounterable. Nor is our atk speed fast enough to counter with a light atk.

    Which is why you see 10x the amount of the other assassins, because they have bleed and unblockbles to hit skilled players with when they can't get away with spam, but the berserker was made PURELY around spam. Yet for a spamming assassin he has the slowest attack speed out of them.

    Oh but our dodge counter? Would be nice, that is if our speed was enough to strike after GBing. Hint: block and you will recover right before our heavy hits you.

    Parry? Again, speed. Unless I'm light atking you afterwards you're gonna block a heavy again.

    Uninterruptable stance after 4? Nope, just block the light atk and it stops.

    The berserker becomes forced to play pure defense and only able to counter with light atks. Lack of speed, bleed, unblockables, and GB combos means your screwed. The timer will run out or you will be ganged. Period. You cannot beat a player who can block. Especially not one who can parry.

    i don't play beserker but I've never met a good gotta be a reasone for that

    Bersker main here, nearly rep 3, duel only. I'm probably top 10% mmr-wise.

    I disagree with most of what you said. It sounds like you play the 4v4 modes, which is inherently more spammy/less-skilled. The fix we need, and I've heard that it's coming in the upcoming patch although I haven't found a source, is our block upon light attack recovery speed. Currently if someone blocks our light attack opener, they get a free guard break. Which is broken... and like I said, they're fixing it. The speed the serker is missing relative to other assassins is made up in very high damage, strong punish via landed parries/gb's, and more mixups than all other classes. To be more effective I recommend you learn to feint lights, feint heavies early in infi combo, learn to parry consistantly, bait parries, harass with single lights, discover all the mixups with the aforementioned.

    its not the berserker that needs a buff its the other assassins classes that are better than average

    I need to say, duell and dominion are completely different in every aspect. There are classes designed for duells and classes designed for dominion. most fast classes are made for duells. I think berserker suits duells better than dominion. they have a few great moves that work best if you only have one focus and if you dont have to fear people jumping in your back.

    Try working these out:

    Upon any parry, in lieu of gb'ing, quickly overhead heavy = max damage, unblockable

    Feint light right into spin chop left (And opposite direction)
    Feint light right into dash left gb (" ")
    Feint light right into dash - respond (" ")
    Feint light right, into dash left, feint heavy, parry

    Feint heavy into gb
    Feint heavy into oppsite light
    Feint heavy to bait parry
    Feint heavy into light

    Upon quickly alternating guard, single light attack
    Upon quickly alternating guard after landing numerous singles, gb
    Upon landing light, heavy-cancel gb

    Upon gb, single heavy
    Upon gb, heavy, other directional light
    Upon gb, heavy, light, feinted heavy
    Upon gb, light, heavy
    Upon gb, light feinted heavy to bait parry

    Quite a few more.... and they interact with one another... synergize. Also try modulating the speed of game. Serker is best when overwhelming, you need to have very fast reactions though. Anyway, I don't think serker is weak, just subtly broken at the moment and most low level (Lower 90%) players don't know how to punish it.

    Actually no, they are nerfing us. After getting OUR light attack blocked, we can guard break/counter break them immediately. As it is, if they block our heavy and then GB us, we cannot counter it. And soon with the change, we won't be able to counter a light block either. Google berserker nerf. It's already on Internet mags about the first patch for the game.

    I play 4v4, duel, and brawl. I'm talking from 1v1 experience without gear bonus.
    And it seems I need to add proof so I'll get to uploading videos later, I have hours of footage of everything I'm talking about in spades. Heck I'll compose a 100 heavy finish video of 30 second matches showing 99% of them being blocked.

    Mix ups? I can show you clips of even noobs blocking our above head jumps because it gives you 2 freaking seconds to block.

    The dodge cancel still doesn't work properly unless u cancel it immediately afterwards which just gives em more time to hit us, we can't dodge cancel upon missing still, and seriously ?? Just lights and parries ? We have no damn unblockables no bleeds a slower atk than other assassins, limited blocking less range, how is that harassment? Any God damn assassin class can parry and light spam, only more effectively!! Hell the PK can GB followed by 3 stabs with bleed that no one can avoid afterwards but we can't even pull off a freaking heavy after a GB.

    Yes, your good, but it's obvious you could do BETTER with any other assassins class, which is the problem, on equal player skill the berserker LOSES.

    I've done heavies after GB, it always gets blocked not even talking about upper stance, the slightly faster ones also get blocked. Our speed does not allow us a free hit, anyone smart enough who isn't a lagger can block it.
