    Attacks follow dodge to sides?

    As title says.

Been playing now in closed&open beta, then now as well. Seem to notice a pattern, where dodges don't really matter? As the guardbreaks & attacks 80% of the time follow the dodge and hits you.

Not always, it really depends on the class/attack they do.

Just curious if anyone else experienced this? Or if I'm alone with it, or if I might be dodging too late/too early which makes this happen?

Because I get that some weapons are long, and they still hit you with the tip if you dodge the "wrong" way. But what I mean is their entire character follows your dodge direction and hits you, even tho you dodged when they were starting the animation or mid-animation.

    I hear you.

You are not alone. Take a lvl 1 training bot. You can almost put a timer on when he swings and how many times he will swing. Almost always 3 times in a row sometimes 4. I bet you can not dodge every attack every time. Just stand there and try. Even though you do the same motion every time and the bot does the same attack every time. That's the stuff I do not understand.

If it's rng then I'd wish they would say it's rng. You'll get 85% of them. IT's frustrating though because that lvl1 bot doesn't mix it up, it's the same heavy attack every time. Which is fine, but that should produce the same result every time as well.

Yeah, it's a bit frustrating... Like if I do a dodge, and have like "I dodge and can do this to win." Then suddenly his up-heavy attack or guard break follows me around, because his entire character turns with my movement, hitting me in the face where I can't counterguard it or block it because i'm in "dodge motion", I'm literally screwed...

Sometimes it works perfectly, no issues. But like you said, it almost feels like it's RNG, but they haven't said it is and with your experiment on the bot.. Just makes it more confusing

Seems like that Shugoki (Fat guy chinese) charge does it as well. He charges, you jump out of the way with a dodge. His arms doesn't even touch you, and then you're grabbed

I had these too, but from what it looks like, if you are a tad too late to dodge out of the way of an attack, it will hit you regardless. Theres a sweet spot to the timing.

As for charges/sugoki's grab, if you are too close to him, dodging it wont do.
You have to keep the right spacing for your dodge to work.
Same goes for warden/conq's charge as it seems.
