Dear Ubi,

I'm not going to complain about the server issues since I'm sure your engineers are already fully aware and working tirelessly to fix it.

I do however take issue with the matchmaking process. It is very frustrating that after EVERY GAME, if players drop, their spots don't automatically get requeued and filled. Everyone has to drop out of the game and requeue manually in order to get back into a full game. This is horrible. I can't think of any other games in this genre that work this way.

Also, when you queue up for a game, there are spinning symbols and circles at three different sections of the screen with the circle under the "Searching for Players" section spinning feverishly. IMO, this isn't good for players patience, in fact, I'd even say that in some ways it is anxiety inducing. Why not do what so many other successful games have done with their queue (League of Legends, Overwatch, etc) and just have a timer and an estimated wait time? I think the whole visual as it is now is likely to make players feel like they've been waiting longer than they really have and more likely to quit the queue (but I guess given the state of your servers, that may not be a bad thing ).

I know that the the server issues will get resolved eventually but I really feel like the matchmaking holds this game back waaay too much for something that so many other game studios have gotten down to a science.

Anyone else feel this way?
