Whoever played both iterations of Conqueror (beta and release) has already probably noticed that now a chained shield attack after a heavy attack drains significantly more amount stamina and the heavy attacks into shield loop is gone now. This was strong mostly against low-level player. Against a good orochi or good-in-dashing players, in general, it was not a viable strategy at all. It was viable with the shield dealing damage feat but feats are not avaible in duels and brawl at first place so I think that this change made the character more boring to play rather than to have an actual impact on the meta :/
