    Warden shoulder bash into guardbreak

The only real nerf to Warlord that really impacted his ability to chain attacks was getting rid of his headbutt into guardbreak combo. Without that he's much more balanced than before. However, warden can change to a guardbreak mid-way through a shoulder bash, which is equally as exploitative as the warlord combo, and the shoulder bash into guard break needs to go. I am unsure as of yet if other heroes can change unblockables into guardbreaks but if so that should also be looked at and removed. The unblockables should be a high risk high reward move, not a safe move that can automatically get a guardbreak. Also, I apologize for using the word "broken" to describe the ability in question, it's just that it is a word that gets peoples attention, meaning they will comment, promote discussion, and give the issue more visibility.

That's true. The only way of countering that is to dash backwards. If You are in a corner, it's gg. It needs to be removed, just like Warlord's headbutt into gb.

or ya know, learn to either dash out of the way if he initiates with it or learn to counter guard break so he can not spam you...

    1) The Warden, admittedly, doesn't have much else. A predictable albeit lightning fast zone attack, a fast top-light, and a harder-to-use but better rewarded in damage parry with the Crushing Counter.

    2) I wouldn't mind seeing it use a lot more stamina, though. You can easily chain the mix-up again and again and obliterate anyone that doesn't guess correctly.

You can double dash away or light attack him on most characters to interrupt a charge cancel, which is still 50/50, but it's punishable if you read it. I don't think it's that bad. PK instant zone attack into light mix ups is almost a vortex just because of its speed, Shugoki charge/charge cancel into GB is 50/50 you have to double dash.

you do realize that if you dodge it, you become vulnerable to the guardbreak followup, as you cannot counter if grabbed while dodging, right? that's sort of the whole crux of this issue. The bash forces you to dodge, or you'll get hit by lights as follow-up, but if you dodge, you get grabbed. It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't issue. Again, this is the whole problem.

I've had some success with guard-breaking the attempt to start the charge at immediate close range and with light-attacking through it.

The other issue is there's no penalty for missing the charge, if your opponent dodges it successfully you can block even a light attack follow-up, so not does it have a built in counter for it's own counter, it's spammable, and safe.

Well, I've been caught by dodge-attacks by Orochis and the like. It's not completely without window to punish.
