A blocked light attack can be punished with a free guard break (Berserkers) | Forums

This can't be the intention, right? The berserker is a harassing class, but is punished significantly if they get an opening light blocked. Absurd. I searched the forum with no luck... I can't be the first to post this because quite a few people I'm dueling (I'm guessing upper 5-10% of hidden mmr) are abusing this. They do not attack, wait to block a light, then immediately guard break for free.

Please tell me there is a fix coming for this...

You outplay your opponent. Instead of going for a light, cancel a heavy into a guardbreak. or a light on the opposite side.

blocks on lights put you juussstt about even. that means you have time to roll. Try that instead of sidestepping or attacking, if you have a slow character.

you can also leave guard stance after your light gets blocked, and you wont be able to get guard broken.

you can also interrupt it. you're probably just trying to interrupt it too early.

What? NO. This is completely false. I get guard-broken just running past people to an objective.
