Why is Deathmatch a coin flip between skirmish and elimination?! Seperate them please

Hey guys, as the title says I want to know why we can't choose between elimination and skirmish matches for ourselves?!
It's just ruining not only the game experience, but also both modes and this is why:

If I want to play elimination only, maybe because I want to finish 3 quests, putting me into a skirmish is a waste of everyone's time. My time is limited, so I WILL DEFINETLY leave the skirmish and go into matchmaking again wasting my time and ruining the skirmish game for my team mates by leaving.
yesterday I spent 2 hours to complete 5 elimination matches, just because 90% of the time I was in loading screens and matchmaking queues. And yes, I have elimination mode favored, but I'm still being put into skirmishes, so this preferred mode setting is just garbage. This also applies the other way around of course for players who only want to play skirmishes.
People will not stop leaving the not-desired game modes and they will waste their time searching for the right one! THIS HAS TO BE FIXED!

For god's sake, Ubisoft, SEPERATE BOTH MODES!! what is wrong with you!? I don't care if I have to wait 2-3x that long to find a match, if I don't have to leave it anmyore.

If the players wish to switch to the other mode after their match they could still vote, so don't try to argue about mixing it up.

yeah I wished that worked, but it doesn't. I get into the wrong mode all the time

Doesn't work as well as you'd hope. Roughly reduces the instances of finding skirmish matches to 30-40%.

I wouldn't mind staying for the occasional skrimish match, even though I have elimination in higher priority, if it wasn't for the fact that I need to do elimination for some contract orders.
Skirmish is also by far the worst gamemode.

This. A hundred times this. Out of all the issues with balance and bugs, this is the most glaring and most easy to solve problem!

Stop mixing different game modes! I queue for elimination because I need that for my orders. You put me into skirmish? I actually Alt-F4 out of the queue now as soon as skirmish pops up because I will not wait 1 minute to select character and go through all shenanigans just to then be able to leave the match. Do not "force" me to enter gamemodes I do not intend to enter!

I'm glad you guys agree and I hope this thread will raise attention and make a difference.

Agree, the two modes should be separated in the next update or even earlier because it would probably take like an hour for them to do this or maybe 20 minutes

Change it so that the favored selection is actually a HARD choice.

If you want to get both? Don't select a favorite.
If you want to play only a specific mode? Select the one you want.

That solves the problem immediately in my opinion.

that would be the best solution, because you could still vote another mode the next map, if that's what the devs wanted in the first place.
