Can't play story mode, "world not available" error | Forums

Can anyone give me a hand or point me in the right direction? This is on PC.

I can go to story mode, select Chapter 1, part 1.1, but when I get to the part where I can select difficulty and play, after hitting play I get the following message,

"WARNING - World (0x4c3ffc7f) or World division (0x4c3ffc84) not available."

and then it just goes back to the difficulty selection screen. Does anyone know what this means or how to fix it? I've tried searching the forums, reddit and google and can't seem to find anyone having a similar problem.

Practice modes work. Multiplayer works. Just not story mode.

Hi there!

Have you tried verifying the game files to make sure nothing is missing? If not, you can do so by way of these steps:

1. Launch Uplay.
2. Select the Games tab at the top of the window.
3. Click on the game tile within your games library.
4. Select "Properties".
5. Under "Local Files", choose the "Verify Files" tab.
6. Uplay will verify the game's files. This process may take several minutes.
7. Once the process is completed, the Verifying game files Window will display a notification.​
