In 1v1, it's not as bad because good player will dodge you unless you use it appropriately, but imho the Dev's were really not considering how it would be abused in the 4v4 setting which is 3 of the 5 game modes. ridiculous. 4/5 if you include the 2v2 category which i would, because I can totally see a shugoki player abandoning his 1v1 to run up behind you for the free 50% dmg and health regen. lol

lol, have you tried running away from a fight as the Shukogi? They are the slowest sprinters in the game, and with your back turned to your opponent, you die quicker then anyone Shugoki sits on. Also, while in theory the move does a lot of damage supporting other players it's NOT the only move that does that, not only that, but pretty much ANYTHING except a guardbreak without followup affecting your target can make you miss, costing you valuable HP and time. even if I DO hit, there's about 3 seconds I'm immobilized and can't move, which is hardly worth the health I'd gain AFTER the animation ends.

I swear that, as a Shugoki main, I use the move very sparingly, I actually prefer not using a lock and using the lockless sprint against people to knock them down. I suggest you play this character up to prestige 2 and STILL sound so high and mighty about a class that you know merely the basics of.

I experienced this attack for the first time today. It was listed as doing 10k dmg to me.. that's just :I

No move should ever one shot from full health, simple as that. I dont play this fat **** but im pretty sure its guaranteed in some scenarios(parry>GB into wall>throw?)

Yep that'd be guaranteed and instant death if the Shugoki was low. A wallsplat after a throw can combo into the hug.

I dont believe this move to be OP, but the fact it can one-shot any character at full health if the Shugoki lands it while on low health is pretty ridiculous.. especially seeing as its guarenteed after throwing someone into a wall. My only gripe with it is it can instant kill someone, but other than that I think its fine.

Ya removing it wouldn't really have a big effect on Shugoki's overall play. For the most part it's a gimmick that can easily be avoided and It's very rare to actually be in a position where you're that low on life and can throw someone into a wall. Honestly getting life back is good enough reward in itself when landing it while critical.

I agree that the one shot mechanic can be a bit scary and I'd be completely fine if it just did "a lot of damage" but more normalized at low health. I do have to ask though, how does this slow *** character grab you and throw you when a light attack will kill him?

Move is stupidly OP and really doesn't belong in a game like For Honor.

No other class has a move that heals them outside of feats. No other class has a move that can literally 1 shot. He has both on an unblockable move with stupidly high range and obnoxious tracking.

Then on top of this you have shugoki's super armor which is so stupidly easy to get back due to the fact that there is really no way to counter someone who just dodges backwards...

When he has his super armor there is literally only 2 options for a player. You can either go for a parry or go for a GB. Any other action is an instant loss.

And oh yeah he also has a tech that drains 100%!!!! of your stamina in a single blow and can crush you for like 80 damage in a single swing.

I've luckily never met a great Shugoki player, but I'm seriously considering starting to play him myself seeing all the cheesy garbage he can do.

By all means. I invite EVERYONE who thinks this class or even this move is OP to play this class at least to prestige 2 and see what you think after that. There's a LOT of misinformation and misunderstanding going around about this class.

The move is annoying but it's fine there's a health penalty if he misses BUT the only issue with that move is sometimes I might glitch and instantly kill you even when you have max health
