If you're being parried so often, learn to not attack with an obvious heavy and instead feint?Originally Posted by LovaN. Go to original post
Problem fixed, no more parry grab hit.
Hold on there buddy I think there might be something wrong with the math in this formula. Now if we add uninstall to both sides we get Parry + uninstall - unblockable grab = boring and that just seems inappropriate. Not to mention adding unblockable grab to either side after that gets you Parry + uninstall = unblockable grab + boring which does not make a lick of sense.
but he is right with that one, the attacker is mostly the idiot which one loose
there is no benefit playing offensive in high ranked games, the most players just do absolutly nothing until the other player attacking and parry it, pros can parry/block the most feints too.
feints solve the problem just in lower skilled matches...
but this problem known here..
Exactly, that's how every fighting game works. At the highest level it's a mathematical dance. To call it "boring" is to say, "I have no skill and need bright colors to stay entertained". There's nothing more satisfying that a high level match where you have the methodically outplay your opponent.Originally Posted by Captain.Weegee Go to original post
You can't parry feints and tech GBs and block lights ALL at the same time; that's the entire premise behind 50/50s. For example, if I try to unblockable attack you and your option is "dodge", then you have to commit to dodge. If I cancel into GB, your dodge would get caught in an untechable GB. Feint into a quick enough light attack is often fast enough to race the quickest defense. It's been shown that light attack / zone attack or heavy feint into light for some characters are counterable on reaction. You have to COMMIT to the action before seeing the opponent's move in order for it to come out in time. No ALL characters can force a 50/50 on perfect defense heroes, that's the reason why Warden / Warlords are Top tier because they have unreactable perfect 50/50 guess games. That's the reason why Orochi is not Top tier despite murdering noobs (he has no viable 50/50 option).
This guy isn't talking about that even. He's complaining about parry and GB in general. We need GB for 50/50, without GB, this game is stalemate at top level. He's talking about his inability to enjoy attack spamming as a form of stress relief, lol...
We both know that the GB after parry isn't guaranteed, so why have such a topic title?Originally Posted by LovaN. Go to original post
