Her a+dodge ability is rb so when I rarely pull off a shield dodge that's what im going to press I wouldn't press rb if the window to rt was so small. I suggest fixing that and whatever character is awkward like that

You can also use both light and heavy attack at once and it will automatically use whichever can be activated.

Shoulder pin is RT so you can immediately chain it into a shield bash afterwards.
