UBISOFT .. Why would you EVER think we wanted to fight in Jello??!??!!

I discovered this game 2 days into open beta and loved it. I preordered like many, and was so excited because of the gameplay... finally something like this.

Anyway, as most everyone else I was baffled. At first I thought the AI was a lot tougher, but then realized everything was dumbed down, all the precision of attack and defense gone.

I saw the posts, and still do, I see your patch notes Ubisoft. I agree the GB is botched bad, and am glad you are fixing it. However I am not seeing anything about the fact that it feels like we are fighting in jello now. That your inputs (which need to be like lightning) are flat ignored by the game half the time on defense now. I find I have to literally double stick to know I have a block with any character, which of course makes it impossible to effectively block good players, or even LA spammers. This to me is 10 times more frustrating than even the loss of GB counter ability.

People ask about this and all I hear is read the post.. they ARE fixing the GB... well what about the completely broken input system compared to the precision we had in beta?

That about that Ubisoft? Can we get the product that was advertised and not the sham you delivered?

You do understand legally Ubisoft that would constitute fraud, don't you?

While I agree with your post for the most part, it is not fraud. They stated in the Beta it was not final build and could be changed. Before playing, you agreed to this. They also have every right to change their game balance, even if it is for the worst, due to that little EULA you agree to.

I used to feel the same way, until I played the game more and got used to the new mechanics.

    It's actually harder/more precise now.

All the things you could spam before, you can't spam anymore, that includes guardbreaking cancels, and guardbreaking after a parry.

You also need to realize that sometimes you can not counter a guardbreak, since it will be a 100% hit. So you might think the inputs don't work, but it's actually meant to be like that.

Anyway, I like the improvements, the only problem is automatically failing a counter guardbreak if you try to GB right after the opponent did, but they're fixing that.

I'm really relieved to see this; perhaps part of my struggle getting started in this game is this problem because Warlord is meant to counter attack so I keep trying to guard break after dodging a faster character's break but it never works and I lose half my health before I know whats going on. Lol
