Dodge/Block Orochi Longbow feat in Elimination? | Forums

Is there a way to avoid the damage from the Orochi's longbow feat? I haven't been able to find a dodge timing for it, and block appears to do nothing for it.

Considering it's 70%ish of a Nobushi's max HP, its very frustrating in Elimination mode.

1. Skills seemingly cannot be blocked,
2. Dodge rolling does work, the projectile has travel time.
3. Don't allow the orochi the space and TIME needed to fire it off! If you hit/GB him/her while they try to use it, breaks animation and cancels that skill XD

Easiest ways to learn how to counter something, is to play and learn how that specific thing works, then reverse engineer it in your play style on how to defend against it.

In Elimination, once unlocked, they can use it as soon as the round begins, no way to close the gap that fast.

If only there would be other directions to roll to. Unfortunately we can only move forward.

That was the point of the thread, now that I know I can roll-dodge the arrow I'll try to work out the timing. If they use it as soon as the round starts you cant roll to them fast enough to interrupt however (tried it, since Nobushi get Longbow too )

Don't take this as fact but I once dodged an arrow as a Warden.I'm not sure entirely if it was lag or not but no harm in trying,right?Right when you see them pull the bowstring back dodge backwards or to the side.
