Did they fix the connecting problems? So far i've been able to connect to all my games with no problem. Loving the game now that i can play it

No. The reason for the connection problems is the Peer to Peer connection. Ubisoft used this with Rainbow Six Siege aswell. A few weeks or a month later they introduced Servers. The same will happen to For Honor i assume.
