If you are trying to dodge as the LawBringer then you are doing it wrong.

You need to learn how to parry when using big dudes. You can't sit there and try and dodge around like you are a PK as a LB or else you are gonna have a bad time.

I agree with you, however giving characters the ability to instakill is a fun killer. It's just a bad design choice. People are angry because they feel that this shouldn't be in the game. They could've done much cooler and better things with the character.

yeah i have previously mentioned that the Shugoki is op. but thats it. i have also mentioned that the Lawbringer is a mess, but i think that's pretty much a given.

all 3 of the new class are a mess, they were a mess in the Closed Alpha as well, but funny enough were left out of the closed beta and open beta. now i know why. cause they are still a mess

you can't parry Grabs. and those special grabs dont work like GB either, so you can't break, your only option is to dodge.

Both of those INSANLEY easy moves i mentioned above take off 3/4 of my health....THREE QUARTERS. Just wow. The samuri are actually the "easy" faction to play, as there moves are awesome, INCREDIBLY easy to pull off. Wait, like nobushi and PK for example. Just look at how easy it is to get nobishi's bleed attacks on compared to PK. PK you gotta fit them in a combo, you can initiate a bleed with nobushi with one simple move. Crazy lol. I don't care what anybody says. The samuri are OP, people are just to stubborn to see it.

The grab is worse in 2v2 or 4v4 I think. It's easy to telegraph but not when he's not your main target. If they guy is just a bit clever he should just wait for someone else to gb and then *bang*.

"I see so many people complaining about this ability and I feel I need to point out some stuff.

    The Pros of Demon's Embrace
    - It heals us and does a nice amount of damage
    - If at critical health it will one shot anyone

    The Cons of Demon's Embrace
-It's one of the most telegraphed moves in the game
    -It's EXTREMELY easy to dodge
-If we miss with it we damage ourselves for a 3rd of our HP bar
-If we miss with it, in addition to damaging us, it takes a moment for us to be able to do anything again and leaves us open to attack.

The cons outweigh the pros, the ability is not as overpowered as people think it is and is quite well balanced. And the fact that people are beginning to wise up to it is making it increasingly difficult to land. If you do get hit by it it's on you.

As for other things that people have mentioned being OP, like uninterruptible stance, that also isn't as OP as you might think. Uninterruptible stance only lasts until we get hit once, with a light or heavy attack and then it has to recharge and we can be interrupted. After uninterruptible stance is broken we actually take increased damage, this is where the heal from Demon's Embrace comes into play, to deal with the increased damage we take and keep us in the fight.

All in all what I'm saying is the Shugoki is actually a pretty well balanced character and if anyone thinks he is OP it's because they don't understand how he works, I'd recommend playing him for yourself and I'm willing to bet you'd change your tune quite quickly."

I'm also going to add, yes, he does a lot of damage. That's to compensate for how ridiculously slow he is. He is literally described in the heroes screen as a Hard Hitter so this shouldn't be a surprise. Being able to hit hard does not equal overpowered.
^This, in a nutshell. He also has 0 default ability to chase, and can be outrun by most heroes, you just gotta be aware of the charge. But Shugoki is in a far better place than Lawbringer, he is good and when people get used to fighting him, he'll be no more powerful than any other character. I cant speak to any issues with the Valkyrie, I haven't really played as her enough to offer anything there, but I don't have any inherent issues fighting against her, at least none that I blame on the character design. The quality of the player behind her is another story...

You do know Demon's Embrace is one of the, if not THE, slowest and most telegrafted ability in the game, right? You also do know that, at critical HP, most Shugoki players will always try to go for it so you SHOULD be ready for it, riiiiiiiiight?

He's big, slow and hits hard. It should be easy for any decent player to beat Shugokis, especially since removing their personal Stance makes them receive more damage.
