practice make masters. everything about orochi is fine except the guardbreak, which UBI announce they will make as it was in beta. Simply more time to counter. (from the beginning of the move till the last moment) Now its quite hard to do.
Good player can parry you any light attack from orochi and punish you. Orochi is assasin class which is supposed to be fast. And I guess he is OKish fast. Just the broken guardbreak which make him beast now...
All in all I wont tell you to "Get good" , Ill tell you to practice blocks, parrys and feints....
And for tards who gonna say that Im defending my class. Im not playing orochi at all....
idk why ppl are complaining.
1st of all: parry is much better than deflect. there is no question about it.
2nd: why would you complain about guard break into overhead light or overhead heavy? you can just counter guard break?! and its not like other classes do not have a follow up to guard break..
how about you learn to play this game instead of creating this ridiculous thread.
1st, if you miss parry you get hit, if you miss deflect you still dodge because iframes, not to mention you dont even need to match block direction, you just press a+space and youre fine.Originally Posted by G0BackT0G0 Go to original post
2nd, neither heavy or vanguard classes get free heavy on gb and these are the classes which rely on cc.
one quick answer. warden cant side heavy from GB for free?
seems like this discussion coming to get good and practice more....
Warden can even top heavy after gb and throw you to wall, which is his most damaging heavy.
This forum is getting full of guys who played 10 hours and feel like they need to buff...
You can block heavy from warden after gb.
You cant from orochi and nobushi for sure, im not sure about berserker or pk.
As for parrying, yes its actually best thing out there if you can perform it consistently, but im not sure anyone can. Dodge however is ridiculously easy to perform and cant be ****ed up meaning that even ****tiest orochi can avoid any heavy attack with no effort.
you think deflect is better than parry? parry drains tons of stamina, deflect does not. parry allows for the same follow up damage as any deflect move. its easier to punish deflect than parry. sounds like you need to practice how to punish ppl that dodge.Originally Posted by Davoodoo92 Go to original post
i am not sure but you can side heavy after gb as warden, can you not? maybe it does not deal as much damage as orochi overhead heavy but orochi is far less durable. thats a class concept.
why do you post things as facts when you got no idea? you know, you could just hop on any good stream on twitch and learn about the game before you post stuff thats just false.
Like i said, if you can parry everything then parry>all, but if you cant then attempting deflect wont risk you anything.Originally Posted by G0BackT0G0 Go to original post
You can block that, its better to do double light after gb with warden, its unblockable and deals decent dmg.
As for orochi class concept, he got less hp, so he attacks faster and got 2 dashes, 1 heavy which is pretty easy to parry/block and overhead lunge similiar to other assasins.
Also hes counterattacker, so i expect him to deal good dmg when he actually parries or deflects, not free dmg on every gb and ability to dodge out of every mistake.
Also lets compare him to other counterattacker, lawbringer, which can at best deal 8 dmg after he parries or throws enemy overhead with massively telegraphed attack which is ridiculously easy to dodge...
If we actually applied orochi treatment to lawbringer everytime he manages to shove you back you should fall flat on your *** while he gets free 30 dmg side attack and if he ever parries 40dmg top attack.
