Color Blind mode options would be useful | Forums

My best friend and I have been psyched for this game and anticipating it for over a year and after 3 matches in the open beta, my friend raged in not knowing wtf was going on. I didnt even think about it at first, and was telling him how to actively block in the same direction the enemy was going to attack in to block/parry, etc.

He then said he literally cant even see the combat reticle because he is red/green colorblind. Needless to say that after a year of waiting, he played 3 matches and said he will never touch the game again. I held out hope that the open beta was just a earlier build of the game and there would be more UI options upon release.. Alas, that is not the case.

With all of the vivid colors from armor customization and like 50% of the attacking outfit colors being based around some red to drown out a combat block reticle, is there any way to create an option in the UI to just change the color of the reticle to anything else? or even a black outline on it or something?

Really sucks to see my best friend not be able to even the game a real chance, before he quits in frustration.

I have the same issue with For Honor. I can see where the other player is blocking, but when it turns red, when he attacks, I have a hard time seeing the direction that the attack is coming from. I also have issues distinguishing the players on the different teams. If you could change the red attack to blue or yellow using a setting option, that would greatly help. Same with the icons over the players. Make them like blue and yellow, or use the multiple colorblind options like in other games. The colorblind setting is the first thing I look for in multiplayer games. Please get this in quick. Thanks 8-)
