    Unable to Purchase Steel
    QUESTION:
I'm unable to purchase Steel Packs. How to get past this?
    ANSWER:
If you get an infinite loading screen when trying to purchase Steel Packs, the following steps should help:

    From Uplay:
    1. Close the game and Uplay PC
    2. Navigate to the cache folder in your Uplay PC installation files (by default, this will be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\cache)
    3. Locate the folder named http2 and delete it
    4. Restart Uplay PC and the game and try again.

    From Steam:
    1. Close the game and Steam
    2. Navigate to the appcache folder in your Steam installation files (by default, this will be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\appcache)
    3. Locate the folder named httpcache and delete it.
    4. Restart Steam and the game and try again.

    Fix

Hello everyone I have found the fix. So for those who have the game specifically through UPLAY (Not Steam) if you uninstall UPLAY from your programs and re-install it works! Hope this helps!

if you bought the game from steam can you still buy steel using uplay? becacuse i would just buy it from uplay but i cant find where

i would think something like this would be fixed in the first few hrs i mean that is money making. there are people like me who are willing to pay but cant and the longer it takes the less interested i am spending money. no clue why they dont fix this.

Well I just waited for 2 hours on live chat support and the response was. "We know it's a problem and we're looking into it."

Never thought I'd struggle at trying to give Ubisoft money.

I'm on Steam btw. I already bought some just fine but suddenly I can't.

Edit: I've found a workaround for Steam users!

Try to purchase steel in game then when the screen pops up right click and click copy page url. Then go to a browser (I used Chrome) and paste the url on the address box.

It'll link you to the same page then it will redirect you into a log into steam screen if you aren't logged into steam through your browser. Log in and the rest where it asks for your steam funds or credit card will pop up as usual. After you authorize the purchase check back in the game and it will automatically process.

i found a solution atleast for me it worked. i read on other games people have problems with the steam overlay (which you need to buy stuff) when they run fraps.
i was and am running fraps. i closed it started steam in administrator mode and this time when i tried to buy something it worked
