You're confusing things. I can beat Lawbreakers, anyone can and anyone can beat anything. That means nothing.
Numbers mean something:
1) Each HP bar is 25hp and you regen up to that. They are effective thresholds and only thing that matters.
2) Conqueror is the slowest (apart from the fat one) of all characters with no auto aim long range running attack (shield dash doesn't auto aim). That means nearly all characters can simply get away from you and regen in peace. You cannot force any engagement whatsoever.
3) Numbers are all in conqueror's disfavor as you cannot do 1 HP bar of damage in any reliable way, which means EVERYTHING you can do will be negated very easily.
That means something. And it's just facts, numbers and completely arbitrary. Make HP bars 5 hp instead of 25? Problem solved. Remove regen? Problem solved.
If 2 opponents of equal skill face off, no lag, no fumble play, the conqueror will ALWAYS lose, purely based on numbers because of the HP bar threshold and regen.
Period. That cannot even be argued.
Yeeaah, you're wrong on every count here. Conqueror is one of the strongest heroes in the game right now because of his amazing defense and punishing heavy attacks. Two opponents of equal skill face off, no lag, no fumble play, the Conqueror is a solid contender.Originally Posted by Kemorand Go to original post
What exactly is punishing about his heavy attacks? They do less damage than almost every other heavy attack in the game.Originally Posted by AveImperator85 Go to original post
Uhhhhh, yeah, you're just flat out WRONG. I don't really know what else there is to say here because there's no argument to be had. You're just wrong. The Conqueror's Heavy Attacks hit VERY hard.Originally Posted by Valabrax Go to original post
Actually no, they deal heavy damage once charged up, but otherwise his heavy attacks deal only 23hp compared to 25 of the rest of the cast.Originally Posted by AveImperator85 Go to original post
May i point this discussion to a damage spreadsheet

The heavy attack damage flaws already got pointed out.
What is this thread? Dash bash his face, he can dash shove only and it's extremely hard to dodge on LB and shove doesn't punish you actually. Do mix ups by dash guard break if he dodges well and you will be getting the damage in. You have an immense offensive advantage. LB vs Conq match up is hilariously one sided and highlights one of the major weaknesses of the Lawbringer, which is the lack of punishes from dashes.
As a Lawbringer main, I'm pretty sure your shield bash has priority over our shove, which means you can use it to stop them from doing a whole lot. Your defense is much better than ours, but our punishing potential is much better than yours.
In a perfect match between two extremely good players, neither side should ever throw out an attack and the game will always be a stalemate. Maybe a bunch of feints and unblockable shoves and charges, but no attacks. Both are easy to dodge and easier to counter.
