Huh... Bring up the scoreboard... Click on the player's name that wish you wish to mute... Click mute.... Done.

anyway OP, I'm guessing your a PC player as you stated enemy team muting and the only in-game communication with enemy is Text chat. As I play on PS4 i honestly don't know that struggle however it would be nice for you PC players to be able block Text from players that you don't want to see. Maybe adjusting the mute button settings to block both voice and text from a player would be an improvement.
