I dunno. If raider can fool you into attempting to parry a feint, he can get a guaranteed guard break. I don't think this is great because his heavies are so darn slow that it'd be hard to fall for a feint, but it's something ; p. Also, every class can do this but better. I guess people might get overzealous with the parries against raider and may more likely fall for feints? Dunno. Seems like a gimmicky win condition.

It is, raider gameplay at "high" level is all about baiting, delay unblockable by adding some variation, bait side heavy cancel into pommel and trying to get your opponent exhaust for a run/side throw and get the only guaranteed heavy we have (considering throwing someone into a wall is too situational). That's a lot of work for poor result, but yeah good Raiders right know have very good mechanics if offensive play.

Baiting a feint is meh, you can get a parry and connect a light only for a ton of stamina, I prefer delay feint after some heavy and light, sometimes, it works.

Still, against someone who can answer to this, those efforts are worthless...

Isnt that sentence fit to every character? Like, there is no character who can do much when enemy play better...

This is all highly theoretical. I'm willing to bet when the stats/rankings finally go live there will be a noticeable absence of Raiders at the top if he remains the same as now.

Yes it is, but that's exactly where the Raider is weak, he can't respond as good as the other character and that put you in a state when (against Orochi or PK for example) you can't answer or punish effectively and you end up playing full defence, never ever landing a heavy at a close range (or it's a 100% dodge/combo light in your face) and your only option is to pray zoning attack to hit considering pommel strike is always blocked if not parried or worst, deflected...

Honestly, Orochi or PK with a good comprehension of Raider can't lose a 1v1 duel. I can't see another character with so few possibility, even lawbringer.

Anyone who claims Lawbringer is "Fine" or "Powerful" or "Good" as he is rite now are obviously lacking the experience of higher level of play. Is he Viable? well duh, all heroes are viable. The point is that in order to MAKE Lawbringer viable it requires an immense amount of higher skill and effort that ANY other class in order to beat or punish your opponent. Any time that this is the case in ANY game it obviously means that particular hero is lacking in "something" or "many things"

#1 ~ they need to remove his zone attack completely and give him something WAY faster and WAY stronger, as is it is 100% ****.

#2 ~ all his attacks "Light and Heavy" are among the slowest in the game, witch makes all of them very easy to parry, with his overhead light being the 1 and ONLY exception. Hopefully they speed up his attacks by a HUGE amount. At least as fast as Warden's heavy's witch are also easy to parry imo...

#3 ~ His over all HP should be increased by 20, dodge distance should be increased by 0.5, Shove should be given a 0.25 stagger and stam cost should be reduced slightly, stam drain on target slightly increased, should knock down opponents while in revenge mode, base damage reduction should be slightly increased, base sprint speed should be greatly reduced, stamina cost on ALL moves should be greatly reduced.

Even If they did ALL of that rite there to Lawbringer then he would STILL be weaker AND lower tier than a Warlord, Beserker, PK, Nubushi, Conq, but at least he would stand a chance against an opponent of equal skill..

Side Note: My main is a Warden, so yes my opinion on Lawbringer is 100% unbiased and impartial.

Using the LB is a different type of fighting. It's based around stamina draining the opponent and the average round can take much longer than usual. So he probably isn't a good hero for anything but duelling and brawling.
The funny thing is the guy lost some fights. But, I know he could do better. Had he used the light parry punished instead of constantly shoving he would have won at least one fight. I stopped watching partway through because I got tired of watching him not playing to his potential, 'cause I know he's good. I guess he got stuck in a pattern that hurt his performance without him realizing it.
