Hello, Just wondering if maybe this could be taken as a suggestion, but I was hoping I would be able to change the appearance of my lawbringers armor by using a rare appearance on a common item. But it seems that is not the case, only rares can change the appearance of other rares, other mythics can only change the appearances of other mythics, so on and so forth.

This suggestion is just a small one, I wanna look at my armor and take pride in the appearance, call me a fashionista, but I wanna look like a badass cosmetically. Basically unlock customization to allow common items to change the appearances from rares and mythics and other item classifications, Maybe I wanna stick to my build without forcing myself to switch to a RNG chance of having a confliction going on in my head, "Hmm... My current build? or do I wanna look pretty in this rare/mythic armor that completely ruins my build's playstyle?"


TL;DR Please can we have the ability to have higher item class quality appearances changed on common or lesser item class qualities.

Bumping this, because I would also like to use cosmetic appearances from any quality with any other quality. Be it because I don't have a comparable higher quality version of the stats I want, or because I don't want to look too stylized by using simpler cosmetic appearances.

I suggested this after realizing it during the Open Beta. I would still like it to be a thing, but its not that bad since you can get the same items at a higher quality.

I don't understand why that's not a thing. It doesn't make sense other than to be a pain in the arse to the players.

I also would like the complete freedom to choose how my character looks by being able to switch cosmetics between any two pieces of gear no matter their rarity. This is cosmetics after all, and it shouldn't be restricted by the rarity, i.e. stat bonuses of gear.
