    Connectivity Error: Critical Error 7-00000000

    Hello!

    I'm trying to play "Story Mode", but after 5-10 minutes I'm getting the following message:

    "CRITICAL ERROR
    The Ethernet cable has been disconnected
    Please check your network cables
    Returning to title screen
    [7-0000000]"

    I have played the first mission ~20 times now and I'm getting the same message over and over again.
    I'm getting the error message in every mode, even in the menu!
    When the error is accruing (which is happening about every 5 minutes of gameplay or just idling in the menu) I'm getting booted the the "main, main menu" that says: "Press Any Button".

    There is nothing wrong with my Ethernet, nor my Internet connection. I've got no restrictions set by my Internet Service Provider (ISP).
    I have tried changing ports, same results. Disabled the firewall / "Allowed" both the "For Honor" game and "Uplay" client access (even changed to another firewall app), same results. Changed the host files, same results. Reinstalled the game, same results...
    My NAT port is label "OPEN" (in "For Honor" main menu), it is "green" on signal "Good", as good as it gets. I have done everything in my power to make the connection from the game to my computer perfect, and it still won't work.

    I'm not the only one who is getting this message, and it is very frustrating to not be able to play the game!
    It is day: 3 of release, still can't play the game, and you guys have not posted anything about the problem. Not even an announcement that you guys are looking in to all the connectivity problems that are accruing everywhere! Do you guys still wanna have a player-base after release? Because this is not the way to start it.
    You got so much negative response all over the forums, not only on your own site.

    Connectivity Error: Critical Error 7-00000000

    Although your problem seems to be far more frequent, I have exactly the same issue. Whenever I try to complete a mission in story mode which lasts longer than 5-10 minutes I get Critical Error 7-00000000 which returns me to the start screen. I have managed to force myself through the earlier mission with repeated attempts and some luck. However I am now stuck on the final mission of the Viking campaign. I am repeatedly dc'd at random points in this mission (I would imagine due to the length of time it takes me to complete it)to the point where it has happened just as I have defeated the end of level boss...robbing me of the campaign completion.

    The integrity of my rig/router/internet is intact, and all other online games(some of which require far more resources) work perfectly. The usual Ubi connectivity advice amounts to little more than finger pointing at your pc/isp.

    When I first purchased The Division both myself and many other members of the community had various connectivity issues and the same generic advice was given then. The actual answer to these issues were as usual supplied by member of this community and these have now found their way onto The Division connectivity advice pages. I would imagine as before, the answer will come from the players and not Ubi.

    error 7[00000000] ethernet cable disconnected

    so is there a solution to this problem 7[00000000] or we should just get frustrated due to bad servers or other game problems??

    Are you using ethernet or wifi? Have you restarted all your network hardware and unseated all cords and plugged them back in?
