    Guard breaking at the same time should cancel each other out.

    It's pretty god damn irritating to know that you lose an engage simply because you press GB at the same time as your opponent.

    I don't think they're changing it to what the OP is talking about - they're just returning it to the way it was on Beta. It'll still be so that the first person, even by a millisecond, will 'win' the encounter.

    I do agree that two GBs done simultaneously (within a small window) should push both players away instead of the 'first' player winning.

    Agreed. This gets posted every day but I don't mind, because it is something that I would really like to see happen. Guard break ties should absolutely be a thing that happens.

    That's what I got from the announcement too.

    Shame. It means that the one with the faster connection will still come out on top a majority of the time.
