Pretty much what the title says.

I think that the zone attak of the shugoki is the worst ingame currently. The only pro i can see is that it is nice to catch people who start running from you. In any other case it is super easy to spot since the windup is so long, then he steps forward before he even starts the hit.
Worst of all, it is hardly a zone attack, he jumps too far ahead and will just hit one guy in front of him while opening himself up to others around him.

Look at other zone attacks and tell me this is not the worst. Even lawbringer/Nobushi have better zones.

Suggestions: I wish we had something like the Conqueror zone, just him swinging the club around himself, losing stamina rapidly or maybe even ending the attack with being dizzy to give it a downside.

Shugoki doesnt need to get more powerful. The guy is already tough enough to fight against

Uh, sure, his zone is bad.

Also he can't be staggered by less than two attacks, has gigantic damage output and his slower attacks actually are hell on assassins because they have a completely different tempo to everyone else in the game.

Literally forces unavoidable trades in his favour.
Unavoidable, no-effort guardbreaks.
Can one-shot ANY class as a free "you sucked and got outplayed, but here's a chance to win anyway" button.
Doesn't need even be near environmentals to use them with the five-mile gulf swing.

God forbid it's Zone-attack not also one-shot everyone in a radius while also instantly giving revenge.

Don't try and trade with him. Wait until he throws out a heavy, dodge it and hit him with a light. That'll drop his stance and he'll take extra damage from following hits. The main thing to worry about with an assassin is his light/headbutt combo, and his Charge of the Oni when on narrow maps. Avoiding Demon Ball should be easier once GB is fixed (coming soon apparently). Finally, if he's on low HP watch out for his back breaker. Dodge that and hit him with a light and he should go down, as a missed attack with it will drain his health.

Okay, so because in other areas he is okay, it justifies having a useless zone attack?

Can we get some less salty players in this thread please?

Yeah, what was I thinking. There's no reason at all for him not to be just grand in every department.

If there is anything this guy needs to be nerfed pretty hard. He's broken OP compared to all the other classes. Did you try the lawbringer zone? It's **** against anything put grunts.

So much salt. You make him greater than he is. Try playing against a passive reactive player, good luck.

Seriously, I'm talking about the zone attacks and all you guys do is "Hurr durr, he is super OP NERF". Can we discuss this properly?
