There NEEDS to be a deadzone for the mouse so when we move it to the left and then it moves a milimeter to the right it doesn't change our guard site.. guards should only change on a DELIBERATE movement. Yes, there is a guard mode mouse sensitivity option. It. Does. Not. Work. I've tried it on 0 and moved my mouse as little as humanly possible and it still changed the guard in the other direction.. just makes the input slower. It should at the very least be an option we can turn on so the guard doesnt change unless the mouse moves a certain amount such as half an inch or something along those lines.
Yes, that is ok (even it may cause some lag before the actual guard change, right because of the slider), we also talked right about this during beta so if we are lucky, they will implement that in some future, but that is not a dead zone. I was asking just about the first part of your post as it is interesting to me, if you got some good idea how to implement a working, non-limiting dead zone for mouse moving and its mechanic.
Yup, that's it...lag-less solution there is a discussion about in another thread. The only thing is someone would like to have some dead zone in the center of the circle...but at least...it should be a matter of settings as someone with better mouse moving skills would want smaller zone than someone else because too big zone of cursor ignoration would cause delays between mouse movement and the actual changing of guard.Originally Posted by Orisoll Go to original post
