Small changes that could go a long way

I usually dont post things on game forums but i love this game to much and i know what it looks like what the devs give in to cry babies yelling nerf everything. i feel like the state of the game if fine with the exception of a few things.

    1. Overall Balance changes

There needs to be stamina consumption on dodging. the reason assassin characters are being over played is because they can dodge all day and spam attacks till they are out of stamina and run. rinse and repeat. spamming attack should be punished by not only slowing your attack speed but also slowing your ability to dodge away you are tired right? which means you either strategically use dodge or continue to spam and have to play defense once you are out of stamina. this fix i feel will bring the state of the game to a good point and allow people to punish assassins accordingly.

Next on the list is light attack spamming. this is particularly pointed at Nobushi and Peacekeeper. I've pick these two as their light attacks are probably the fastest in game and have notably done the most spamming I've seen. I main a heavy char(Shugoki) and my guard switching is very slow. there has been matches i've played perfect defense and die to a light attack spam because i misread the initial hit then the following hits proceed as i get hit then my char guard switch i get hit again then the guard switch. even though i'm inputting the guard switch before the person attack. my char is just too slow to react even tho my personal reaction is fine. now i do understand sometime i just **** up and switch to the wrong guard and get sniped, i'm only human. but the ability to attack me without even the chance to defend is crazy. but before fixing this i think fix the first suggestion first and see how that holds. because maybe this doesn't need changing if i could punish someone that just spams and try to dodge to safety.

Running. simply put there needs to be something done about people running from a fight. i propose something like capture the zone after x amount of time has passed. this isn't just an issue with 4v4 game modes but also in duels. I've been in matches where I've outplayed my opponent so they start running for the rest of the fight just to secure a tie this seems to be a problem for anyone playing a heavy char like me. cant really vocalize for anyone else.

Reviving. add a bigger window to the time are person dies and the time they can be revived.

    2. Quality of Life changes

no explanation needed just separate skirmish for elimination. I understand people probably wouldn't play skirmish otherwise but it shouldn't be forced on us.

Elimination Power ups. there should be a option to play without them you're probably already working on this for ranked but there should be a way to queue for elimination without them

    3. Creative suggestion

One way i think could make 4v4 elimination better is to lock the 4 players in different areas at the beginning of the match with one buff (meaning you have to fight in a 1v1 over the control of one buff). then after a set amount of time allow for people to move around the map freely. which means if you're still alive at that time you can then go assist friends or run if thats what you feel like doing.

Again i feel like these are some changes that could really help with the quality of the game without yelling Nerf everyone. what i don't want this to become is a flavor of the month game where every patch you have a obvious overpowered char which means people will flock to the cheese and rinse and repeat.

Now let me tell you why #1 is BS.

If you run out of Stamina, you will no longer be able to dodge in this criteria. Meaning, if you are parried, you will be more than reasonably punished for a well timed attack, for you cannot dodge, and in the case of this being such, this would also make it come into using Stamina to counter Guard Breaks, which in their own already need work.

So, if my stamina is gone, can I still dodge? Yes. Because there is no cost. It makes for being able to not just get Kensei Spammed by Unblockables.(To note that they track through dodges anyway. So even if you do dodge, in which case, Kensei's unblockable attack should NOT track as well as it does.)

To fix (your) problem, suggest that the dodge ATTACKS cost higher stamina. Therefore presenting you with the lesser issue of Dodges being a problem, and finding the root of your broken argument as "Nerf Sidestep Attacks"

    Have a nice day.

    What?

First how did stamina consumption on guard break become a topic or parrying stamina consumption. this isn't about guard break at all or parrying, it's about the sheer speed of evasion that a stamina starved person has. you first point make zero senses.

second kensei unblockable is probably one of the easiest things in the game to parry. followed by raiders unblockable so please miss me with the unblockable spam. those attacks are slow enough to be seen from a mile away.

who said anything about nerf side attacks lol. i feel like you haven't read the post at all and just spewing stuff.
