I think I can speak for everyone and say that of course getting tossed off the ledge is indeed ****ty. We've all been there.

However, I think that there's always a way to get out of a situation like that, or you just couldn't skillfully dodge the situation. This is a skill based game, so of course people will take advantage of the environment. Too many people ***** about getting thrown off because THEY are the ones falling off. Get better and ****ing throw your opponent off, simple as that.

The only problem I have to agree with, which BulletKingx brought up, which should be changed, is being 1HK'd by being thrown into a fountain... That is frustrating.

Other than that, I'm going to be devil's advocate and say get better. War is war. If you don't throw them off, they will throw you off. Quit complaining and start practising that GB-counter.

Also, have a sense of humour when being plunged to your death. Not only will you be happier laughing, you'll laugh even that much harder seeing your opponent go off the ledge too! It's too amusing.

on maps such as the one where you start in that broken japanese tower (cant remember the map name) in 2v2 i will literally just run down the tower to avoid being cheesed off it to change the location of the fight as i refuse to be cheesed off it

the problem right now is how ****ing janky countering guard breaks are

feel inconsistent as hell much of the time, and so does guard breaks HITTING you. Like if I'm inputting attacks I still get hit with guard break all the time, then I'm disabled the opportunity to counter it. Seems really dumb. Guard break and countering guard break feels so terribly inconsistent to me right now. I have no problem with ledges otherwise

Without throw, there is no point in playing a Raider. I would be forced to switch classes.

You guys need to learn how to avoid the edges, that's it. That's the whole counter. Avoid the edges, that's all you have to do.

Stay away from the edge and learn PATIENCE.

Or... they could just balance Raider...

I'm ok with a few areas of a map having hazards. I'm a lot less ok when the entire map is littered with them.

If it weren't for ledges being dangerous, I wouldn't have clutched a victory for my team in 4v4 Deathmatch.

All teammates dead, I the lone living peacekeeper against four enemies.
Baited first a lawbringer and then a opposing peacekeeper to a bridge on the dry-dock map. Grabbed them, killed them both.

    1v2 now.

Decided to heal and buff up, then meet my fate against the Orochi and the Kensei that were still alive.

Engaged in some swordplay, cut both of them up, got the finishing blow on the Kensei, turns out the Roach left him hanging to go buff up.

Engage in some more swordplay with the Roach, he flees after dealing some damage to me, I pursue him through a ruined tower onto another bridge, he pulls his bow and I narrowly use slipping lunge to grapple and throw him over the edge.

1 Peacekeeper successfully won a 1v4 because of environmental hazards.

Counter a guardbreak with an attack, not your guardbreak. And then when your opponent gets fed-up being smacked around the head trying to throw you off and eventually blocks himself, throw him off!

simply add another Break chance after you got pulled at the ledges, if you can make it, you stay on your feet, if not you die.

Actually might not be too bad of an idea. Having a wobble/balance animation to the character and a quick-time event with a very tiny window to get yourself away from the ledge. Raiders/Lawbringers could still charge you off the edge outright, but guard break throws towards a ledge could trigger a balancing quicktime event to where you can stop yourself from falling.
