As with most multiplayer games that leverage a matchmaking-score system to 'balance' player skill, FH will pit people queuing as a group against higher-skilled opponents than it would if you were queuing for that mode as a solo player. This becomes a large issue for all non-Dominion mode games, where you are (usually) fighting 1v1 and an imbalance in player skill quickly and painfully becomes apparent.

When queuing as a group of 4 for Elimination, I've taken to asking the opponents if they're solo queue or another 4-stack. On the instances where they were all solo or a duo and two solos, we have been completely outclassed (Matchmaking never went beyond Strict or Extended). I expect this is because the matchmaking system is overemphasizing the "skill value" of the 4-stack, and would hope that Ubisoft becomes aware of this and alters the matchmaking algorithm to account for this. Playing an Elimination round as a Solo player is often the complete opposite of this, with my matchups consistently being quite easy.
