Please raise minimum rank for Ranked. | Forums

For the love of god please raise minimum rank for Ranked. Level 20 is way too low to understand this game and play effectively. There are far too many people low rank that barely know what their operators can even do. if I had to give a rank myself maybe at least level 60. Level 60's and above have shown a considerable difference in communication, positioning, and knowledge of game mechanics. If there were more game modes to spread out people playing this wouldn't be an issue, but ranked is a mess right now and I think raising the cap would at least alleviate some issues. There is nothing more frustrating then seeing a low level Thermite run in first and die without placing his gadget, or put one up on an electric wall. Thatchers just throwing their emp grenades at nothing is equally as annoying.

That is only part of the problem. If they were to raise the clearance lvl required, then people would just squad up because only ONE person has to be above 20, while the others could be as low as 0.

Every member of the squad should have to meet the lvl requirements to play ranked IMO. If someone in the squad is under, they should only be allowed to play casual or TH or the squad needs to get rid of him. This would also fix some of the smurf problems.

I totally agree though, right around Christmas/holidays and free to play weekends is when it is at it's worst.

Just get a premade and then your only problem is getting glitched in the map.

I can't tell if this is sarcasm but maybe I didn't word it properly. There could be a squad consisting of one lvl 100 and four lvl 0s. The lvl 100 is allowed to start ranked with all the lvl 0s because HE/SHE meets the requirements and proceeds to carry the noobs into ranked.

What's wrong with that? They're making the decision to put someone that low on their team in a ranked match. Now if you're playing ranked without a full squad of friends that you normally play with, then this is a risk you run. And if you don't want to play someone that fresh, check their level before you get into a lobby with two teams. I've never had a problem checking everyones level before it was too late.

This is exactly what needs to be fixed... You shouldn't be able to pull anybody who isn't level 20 or above into ranked game.

Agree totally. I wonder what the logic behind that ever was.

Knowing Ubi though I wouldn't be surprised if it's not intentional.

Unfortunately there's no single player.

You also can't play meaningful multiplayer because Raziel doesn't like it.
