The awful autotracking and new guard break counter timing.

Played in the closed and open beta and had a great time. Once release came around I realised that dodging had been severely nerfed due to how hard many attacks track you now. Guard breaks have intense tracking and with the counter timing change, I struggle to relearn the timing leading to me getting hit by it as well as getting hit if I even attempt to dodge it as a predictive move. Warlords headbutt requires such precise timing to dodge that it becomes very easy to spam. Wardens shoulder charge is pretty easy to dodge, wait nevermind, he just cancelled it into a guard break that spins him around a 90 degree turn. I'm sure there are plenty more examples but there has been such wild changes from the beta such as the guard break counter timing to the autotracking of various moves that just leave me scratching my head as it was so good before and felt much more balanced. Ubisoft gotta Ubisoft I guess.

It makes the defensive players in a excellent place, but the most offensive ones are just ****ed.

Funny you should say that considering how everyone is *****ing about how the most offensive classes in the game are "So OP" (Orochi, PK, etc)

no official word. they should really get in touch with the community.

I think the biggest abusers of this is actually the warden, warlord and conqueror. Orochi and PK are strong, but the tracking on guardbreaks among other things is insane at the moment.

He said defensive players, not characters.

Someone who is defensively minded and playing warden or Orochi are going to be the best off in the current meta because those characters have the best offensive options. If they are played with a defensive mind-set then that player is going to dominate.
