They nerfed it in the last hot fix patch.

They put a slight delay on it, so you can't just use it instead of your regular block. Now you have to pre-empt it, which is more balanced.

    In 4v4 modes:
    Most definitely!
All you have to do is get full revenge gear with high defence.
Let your revenge meter fill up (5-6 blocks or less) then headbutt (your enemy is on the ground) -> up heavy (usually does about 50% dmg) -> repeat until you win..
It's not the warlord per se that is the problem, but revenge and the fact that certain moves apply a knockdown while it's active.
I can use similar tactics as a conqueror
My tactics against a warlord in 4v4 is not to fight him.. lol

    In duel modes:
Maybe. Warlords are the only ones I consistenly have trouble with as an experienced conqueror.
I feel that the headbutt is maybe a little too hard to dodge, much harder than similar moves by other heroes. Either it's faster or not as telegraphed, dunno.
Could be that I just suck against them though.. But that's it.

^I'll maybe regret telling you that if I ever encounter you on my warlord, but the conq is the only hero able to block the "guaranteed" hit that comes after the headbutt I believe you have to "ful block stance" it. that means if you defend well, a warlord can do 0 damage to you.
That conqueror just won in a tournament against the arguably best warlord in the game : https://www.twitch.tv/videos/130058229 look at 2:12:54
But honestly, those fights are so tedious that I'd rather leave the game than play 3 rounds like that.

    Explain to me how.

The headbutt stab does little damage.

His heavy attacks are fairly easy to parry.

His lights are fairly easy to dodge.

And his shield has been nerfed hard.

    So explain to me why.

headbutt does little damage but gives easy pit kills
headbutt does little damage but can be spammed with guard breakers

His heavy attacks are fairly easy to parry but are uninterruptible
so u only need to wait the opportunit.

His lights are fairly easy to dodge but after a block its is guaranteed to hit.
(and I'm talking about an easy 1 button to block)

Explained for you or are u f*cking kidding me?

The headbutt gives enviro kills? So does guardbreak. So does conq bash.

The headbutt can be spammed? Gee. Who'd have thought. Did you know you can lay the warlord on his butt with revenge?

His heavy attacks are uninterruptable after the windup. Hit early enough and their gone. Dont, and you can still block or parry.

His lights require extremely good timing just like the wardens crushing counterstrike.

None of your explinations are satisfactory. Sounds like a case of 'git gud' to me.

Welp, WL is getting nerfed in multiple ways. Dude had the highest win percentage of all the classes -- even higher than the PK. It's about time.

He is, mostly just in the headbutt catagory.

Honestly, I'm fine with him being a heavier Warden. Just give him the same capability as warden. Up the damage on the light to compensate for the higher winduptime and punishability, and we'll see what needs worked on from there.

He's basicly going to be Warden, at that point, with no ability to guardbreak, and compensating for that with higher health and defense. That's fine.
