Next season, open up cross platform multiplayer.

Players are auto assigned to a faction based on what system they are playing on.

Xbox players will be vikings, PS4 players will be samurai, and PC will play for the knights.

Let us decide the master race once and for all.

I'm not an idiot, I know something like this would never be implemented.

It was just a fun idea.

You shot it down because of something that may possibly at some point happen one day maybe.

Issue with cross platform is that Sony/Microsoft charge ALOT of money for patches to be uploaded via their networks for games. So if something gets horrendously broken, and needs hotfixing. It will probably not get hotfixed and just be held over until the next patch.

I mean, it would be a nice idea.

Also forcing players into a faction based on their preferred platform will just add an extra level of cancer to the community when you mix the faction war nerds with the console war nerds. It'd be cooler if people in the same factions worked together regardless of console.
