    DZ multigrouping is for wimps

So I got an invite yesterday whilst I was about to hop into the DZ for some fun times and I joined a group. After a bit it turns out someone had a friend, who had a friend and all that. And before I knew we were multigrouping in the DZ (first time this has happened to me). My GOD is it boring. Not only is it unfair but you're also taking away at least 4 players who I'd gladly shoot and be shot by in normal gaming in the DZ.

I did my best to stay away from the other group for a bit and eventually just dropped group and went on to do my thing. But ... REALLY? How can anyone find that fun in any manner? Cheap, boring, fun-sapping ... all come to mind thinking about the time I wasted yesterday.

The Prey mentality: Strength in numbers.

Whether subconscious or intentional, tells a lot about the people involved.

Is that the first time you have encountered this? Not being facetious, I'm just asking, because this is or has been one of the biggest issues with the DZ on PS4 for a long time.

Only a few days ago we found a group of manhunts at DZ04 camping the check point. Four were manhunt standing BEHIND the second team who were not rogue. Manhunts were throwing turrets, grenades and seekers over their heads onto anyone leaving the checkpoint and the whiteys were running in front of anyone targeted to make players go rogue. If you went rogue then the whiteys started shooting you as well.

Ways round it? Maybe if you have a well coordinated team capable of taking out all eight of them but for less coordinated teams it would be almost impossible. I don't think this is what Massive intended either but if you complain you get the same lame response that DZ is a lawless area and anything goes Yada Yada Yada.

People are tired of this rubbish and nothing ever gets done to rectify it. As I have said before it is not really the PvEers or the PvPers who ruin this game, it is the gankers and the griefers mostly doing all manner of things like this.

I'm pretty sure I've SEEN it before, but it's the first time it's happened to me as an un-willing participant. It doesn't bother me MUCH in terms of others doing it as I just go around my business of shooting other players. Yeah, when you go rogue the whole server hunts you anyhow whether you are against multigroupers or not, so not that much of a difference there. But my GOD is it boring.

And anyhow the best solution for multigroups sitting on top of each other are STICKY bombs! Get two players with high Skill Power, throw them stickies -> Everyone's dead.

I hate multigrouping sometimes we try it when there's too many on (very rare) but it's more hassle than its worth imo

Hence what's wrong with the whole DZ concept. The original trailers showing what "it was supposed to be" portrayed it as something that would have been cool. Now its something I stay away from unless I need something for a daily/weekly challenge.

And it won't change until Ubisoft/Massive wake up and acknowledge it instead of encouraging it all the time. This game desparately needs a DZ re-do, but they won't do it, so I'm not sure why I'm talking about it.

I want new content dammit, that's all...

As someone who enjoys the DZ more than anything else in the game I couldn't agree less. This is a bunch of losers grouping up and gimping their own enjoyment. Personally I always have bags of fun in the DZ.

When I go into the DZ and aren't bothered by the gankers I too have tons of fun, to the point where I actually stay there on purpose. Too many times though I've managed to collect a good deal of gear only to be nuked at an extraction by yahoo's who enjoy ganging up on singles...not much fun...

Muti-group team up should not be possible along with LOTS of other issues that make the DZ and unfair place.
