Can't clear new content markers from Multiplayer | Forums

This is only a minor annoyance compared to the issues other people on this forum seem to be having and yet it is one that is annoying me enough to drive me to the forums for help.
I currently have one of those annoying little yellow ! markers hovering over every single mode in multiplayer and they will not clear no matter how many times I play those modes or how many orders I clear. Any help would be lovely because those little unclearable marks are slowly driving me quietly insane.

Aside from that I also have the little yellow ! on my equipment too. The only item that's in the marked category is already equipped.

Yup on the multiplayer modes and new gear on my character that I've checked a hundred times now.
