While For Honor is up and running, it for some reason will break my key bind for discord. I tried Teamspeak and am NOT experiencing the same issue, if I alt-tab out of the game my discord key bind works again.
Try starting discord before for honor and start discord with right click as admin.
Check ingame if you binded the same key for discord in for honor somehow.
Check when you start for honor if your KEYBOARD LANGUAGE changes to maybe another one.
