So, with my NAT type being moderate, I cannot join my friend's invites, but he can join mine. However, once he plugs in a controller, it completely disables his keyboard in-game. which makes accessing the Uplay overlay completely impossible.Any suggestions?

I'll have this issue progressed to the team for investigation.

I, myself, have a similar issue so I'm the one who has to host the parties with my friends. However, as you've stated you can't join your friend's invites so that workaround doesn't sound like it'll work for you.

Is it possible to have your friend accept the invited before he plugs his controller in? Just while the issue is investigated.
