With the unique way this game is designed it's hard to tell if and when people are actually quitting. I've experienced a 4v4 loading, suddenly everyone but me 'leaves'.. clearly I'm the one who was 'disconnected', but I continue to load, with 7 bots; I start playing all alone and as the match continues people are hot joining, meaning people are wasting time joining matches that are almost finished.
What I'm saying is leavers might not actually be leaving, they may just be witnessing the power of P2P. I'm on a 500/500mbit connection, I've a rock steady connection to everything and I experience some strange things.
There is an easy way that if they quite via the UI, the game should know that he doesn't disconnect because the network problem. Not sure but I think the same with Alt+F4. If they're going that far to unplug their internet just to rage quit then so be it but this will minimize a lot of rage quitter.Originally Posted by piepgras Go to original post
If they don't at least don't put another person in place of that player. That's so stupid and frustrating.Originally Posted by BeScurred Go to original post
Problem solved. This is what I imagined anyway. They should be able to distinguish b/w someone selecting to leave the game from the menu option as opposed to getting disconnected.Originally Posted by l_Azure_l Go to original post
