I have come in late and have a monster disgust with Ubisoft et all... THis does not provide a solution but maybe if we globally start a movement we may get satisfaction.
We should lall obby for a deactivation facility so that games can be deactivated and reactivated elsewhere by either yourself or by a friend that has had the key transferred to... After all the key is unique and can only be used by the one activator....
Hi, sorry for disturbing with this question but I have the give away (obtained via U play) For honor in the free week. Installed and played 30 hours I got some stuff and unlocked some stuff.
I have also a steam non installed starter edition as the support section says but it's not installed.
I want not to have the "non steam game" recognized but instead I would like to have the Steam client recognize the game as installed. Is it possible ? Having actually, what I guess are two give away cd keys? If I move the folder into the "u play" folder towards the Steam folder will it recognize it?
I remember doing this when I did not have Steam game "cd key" give away official by Ubisoft and Steam not recognizing it (but via the typical procedure for non steam game).
The thing is that Steam is in the same STORAGE DRIVE of Uplay on my pc. Why doesn't Steam feel in that drive that there is the same game?
I dnt understand how to do this. Is it possible?
Is it possible without losing \ restarting the account from zero?
Is there a difference between the two version of the give aways happened during 2018? Thank you.
Hi MangoZero1, if you don't have the game purchased through Steam it isn't possible to add it to your Steam library as a 'full' game. Check out this steam FAQ on adding non-steam games to your library as a shortcut.
